Since the 1970s, it has been providing water for agricultural use throughout the district, which covers portions of Kern County. Nearly 50 years later, Semitropic is still committed to providing a reliable water supply for irrigation and other agricultural uses. In addition, it has broadened its services to include not only surface water management, but also groundwater and energy management.
